BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH Thomas J. Joncheray was born in Angers, France, on May 4, 1980. After graduating from high school in July 1998 (Lycee David d'Angers), he pursued a two-year course of higher education in physics, chemistry, and mathematics (Lycee Bergson, Angers), allowing him to enter in September 2000 the Graduate School of Chemistry and Physics of Bordeaux (ENSCPB), France, where he obtained his master's diploma. In July 2002, he moved to the University of Florida in Gainesville for his doctoral studies to investigate the air/water interfacial self- assembly of amphiphilic block copolymers and to synthesize nanoparticles for drug detoxification applications with Prof. Randolph S. Duran.
