Smith which is found in southern Florida. Both species have similarly shaped antennal clubs and scutella. Cybocephalus iviei has almost always been collected in flight intercept traps or in leaf litter. It was often collected in litter at the base of cacti and agave, therefore there is a good chance that one of their hosts is a scale insect found on one of these plants.
