The partial nucleotide sequence of I35RC (combined overlapping sequences of I35R and I35R PCR) was subjected to a blastN search (Table 5-10) and shown to have homology with other UGTs and unknown fish cDNAs. Multiple sequence alignment showed that livUGTn and I4_3R are similar with respect to each other, while I3 5R was markedly different (Figure 5-15).
