BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH


 Akhil Narayan Karkera was born in Udipi, India. He received his Bachelor of

Engineering Degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai, India, in

May 2000. He will receive his Master of Science degree from the University of Florida,

Gainesville, Florida, in December 2002. His research interests include computer

networks, network security, and distributed systems.
