The Jdrdmie's Archives

This page contains several documents and manuscripts. The provenience of these archival
documents have been authenticated as originating in the colonial period, in the region of
Jeremie, in the south-western portion of Saint-Domingue. You will find amongst these
documents; contracts for the sale of slaves, certificates of (dis)enfranchisement, passports, land
grants etc. In essence some of the most important texts on one of the least studied regions, and
consequently the least known colony of Sait-Domingue. There are approximately ten digitally
scanned documents.
