The survival quotients for the 11 lung cancer cases
ranged from -.50 to 2.34. Nine of the 11 survival quotients
were positive, an indication that survival was longer than
expected for these cases. One of the values was negative,
reflecting a shorter than expected survival, and one was
equal to zero.
The survival quotients for the 12 breast cancer
patients ranged from -2.55 to 2.26. Nine were positive
values. The three negative values reflected a shorter
survival than expected.
