EFFECTS/SYMPTOMS


Suspected human carcinogen. Vapor
inhalation symptoms: cough, throat
swelling, watery eyes, respiratory
problems, throat irritation, headaches,
rashes, tiredness, excessive thirst,
nausea, nosebleeds, insomnia,
disorientation, broncho-constriction,
and asthma attacks. Ingestion
symptoms: nausea, vomiting, clammy
skin and other shock symptoms, severe
abdominal pain, internal bleeding,
vertigo, loss of ability to urinate, and
coma, possibly leading to death. Skin
contact symptoms: skin eruptions.
Speculation exists that formaldehyde
may be a contributing factor in sudden
infant death syndrome.


Symptoms include cough, depression,
heart problems, nausea, vomiting,
abdominal swelling, and headache.
