Ian McDonald is joint editor of the literary magazine
Kyk-over-Al.

Maria Cristina Rodriguez teaches in the English Department
at the University of Puerto Rico and specializes in women's
studies, Caribbean literature and film criticism. She is
co-editor of Sargasso.

Elaine Savory Fido is the head of the English Department
at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados.
She is a poet, performer, critic and scholar.

Michael Sharp teaches in the English Department at the
University of Puerto Rico. His poetry has been published
in several literary journals.

Carol Tennessen teaches at the University of Wisconsin-
Milwaukee and is editor of the journal Discourse.

Robert Villanua teaches French in the Language and
Literature Department at the University of Puerto Rico.
He is the author of Ma Mdmoire Tatoude, a collection
of poems.

Alfredo Villanueva teaches at De Hostos Community College
in New York. -His criticism on Puerto Rican literature
focuses on both island and Nuyorican authors.
