 When we learned that the city council uo Delay
 Beach had earmarked (1,000 lor a bicycle path on
 South Oan Boulevard, wewereelated.
 And we still are despil some opposition to the
 location along he west side ol South Ocean Boulevand.
 The opposition apparently ell thil South Ocean Boual-
 vard is too dangerous to have a bicycle path running
 alongside o lt.
 However. that Is the very reason a bicycle path is
 needed In that location.
 II is needed not only for those people who would
 like to ride blcycls tor exercise and Iransportation, but
 for those who would like lo walk u well. father than
 having to go to the bother of getting the car out o visit
 a neighboring condominium owner,
 It i suggested that the money could better be spent
 putting a bicycle path In the proposed recreation corm-
 pile at the tile of the old city dump, but what about
 making bcle paths to that area for satety of young
 and old alitb.
 Although In recent year our bicycle riding hus
 been limited we still own iyce and ride the when
