When flying it is quite impossible to follow it, and the only way to capture a specimen is to wait until it settles, which it usually does on grasses. I have not seen this insect anywhere except in the Corozal District, where it is common in open grassy meadows. 25. HYLEPHILA PHYLEUS (Drury).
