IV. PROGRAM OPERATION Unless you are using a hard disk drive system, you should make a backup copy of the program diskette. Procedures for making backup copies are described in your microcomputer operating manual. Below are instructions for using CITMIX according to which type of microcomputer you have. DOS MICROCOMPUTERS: If your system is already on, insert the CITMIX diskette into the secondary disk drive and type "CITMIX." If your system is not on, "boot" your system as explained in your DOS operating manual. The manual will also instruct you on how to access the disk drive that the CITMIX diskette is in. If your system has a hard disk,. you may wish to copy the file CITMIX.COM to a directory on the hard disk. Once that file is copied, you can run the program by typing "CITMIX" while in that directory. PRO 350/380 MICROCOMPUTERS: Install CITMIX as an application using the INSTALL APPLICATION option on the DISK SERVICES menu. If you have the COMMAND LANGUAGE application installed, you could instead copy the file CITMIX.TSK to a directory on the hard disk. Then, you can run the program just by typing "RUN CITMIX" while in that directory. The program will accept only REAL numbers at the prompts for the amount of water, the pesticide rate, and the spray concentration. If you do not enter real numbers, the program may "bomb" or calculate incorrect spray instructions. This space reserved for future listings of other computer systems.
