Five of the test pavements were selected for short-term load induced stress analysis using actual wheel loadings and low temperature conditions. The effects of age-hardened asphalt, soil type, moisture content, weak base course and subgrade characteristics on layer stiff nesses were evaluated to assess the stress-strain response of the different pavements.
