UPSTREAM RESEARCH That part oF FARMING SYSTEMS RESEARCH concerned with understanding the existing FARMING SYSTEM via BASELINE DATA, problem identification and subsequent analysis, COMPONENT RESEARCH, and the signn and modelling (via experimentation or other means) of changes to the existing farming system.
