The children of Israel, who worshiped a golden calf.

What judgment did God send upon them ?

Three thousand of the idolaters were slain.

What king made an image of gold, and commanded
the people to worship it?

King Nebuchadnezzar.

What was the penalty for disobedience?

To be cast into the fiery furnace.

Who refused to worship the image ?

The three Hebrew children.

Why did not the fire harm them?

Because Jesus was with them.

How may we have Jesus with us?

By keeping his commandments.
