“And I will make of thee a great nation, and [ will bless

thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a

blessing.” —GEN. Xii: 2.

With whom did God make his covenant ?

With Abraham.

What did God promise to give to Abraharn?
A great and good land.

What else did he promise?

To bless him and his posterity.

How did Abraham show his gratitude?

He built an altar, and worshiped.

What made his offering acceptable?

Faith and obedience.

What promise did God make concerning his posterity?

That they should be in multitude as the ‘stars of
heaven.
What great, person was born of Abraham’ s seed?

Jesus, our Savior.
