137 conditional with respect to the determinants of fishing power. The levels of these factors arise as a result of firm level decisions. Analysis of reef fish production at the firm level in such as manner as to interface with the present model would greatly enhance its usefulness to decision makers charged with the responsibility of managing the fishery. Finally, the model developed has provided a methodology for analyzing the biological and economic factors which interact in an ocean fishery with limited economic and biological information. However, the effects of other commercial fisheries and those of the recreational fishery have been ignored. It is hoped that the methodology developed here will be extended to encompass the analysis of many different fisheries simultaneously.
