And they congratu- lated me on my safety, and wondered at that which had befallen me. Then they made me sit among them until they had finished their work, and they brought me some nice food. I therefore ate of it, being hungry, and rested with them a while; after which they took me and embarked with me in a vessel, and went to their island and their abodes. They then took me to their King, and I saluted him, and he welcomed me and treated me with honour, and inquired of me my story. So I related to him what I had experienced, and what had be- fallen me and happened to me from the day of ' my going forth from the city of Baghddd until I had come unto him. And the King wondered extremely at my story, and at the events that had happened to me; he, and all who were present in his assembly.
