Farris Bryant Executive Office of the President Office of Emergency Planning Washington, D. C. 20506 SUBJECT: ROTARY CLUB PROGRAM COMMITTEE Hana-ow mv *- Dear Farris: We have a report for cur committee to make on the occasion of the Club Assembly to be held Monday night, July 31, when the District Governor visits us. Our committee is one the duties of which pretty much speak for themselves, and I have in mind accordingly making simply a report noting those programs which we have lined up at the present time and suggesting some possibilities that may develop in the future. A draft of this report I am attaching to this letter. If you have any suggestions that you would like to see put in it, I would be glad to incor- porate them. This will also tell you about what we have arranged so far in the committee. Our committee is one which has a simple but difficult job. It has been my experience that the most efficient way to produce good programs is informally to rely on the members to contribute ideas and such contacts for possible programs that come to their attention. I think we are off to a good start this year and with a lift from you and each of the others along the way Page 2 Mr. C. Farris Bryant July 20, 1967 we will have another useful year at any rate from the rostrum. CCS: Dr. Hr. Mr. Hr. Mr. Hr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Sincerely yours, '. . alkLLJ William 8.
