Dear Governor:

On behalf of our officers and Trustees, I would
like to express our gratitude to you for your participation
in our conference last Tuesday. Your talk made a strong
impression on the audience and we appreciate your willing-
ness to undertake this chore.

Later I will send you a transcript of your talk
for review before we print it in the proceedings.

1 am sorry you were unable to stay for the
luncheon (or for the balance of the day) but I understand
that you are on quite a tight schedule. If you will send
