Dear Mr. Ferris:

Though i realize that as a candidate for Governor. you do not
have to qualify until next February, and since there is a problem
of counting campaign expenses after you have announced your
candidacy. we are thinking about having a panel discussion at our
annual maturation in St. Petersburg Beach on October 28. 28 and

30.

We would like to have as many likely candidates for Governor on
this panel as we can invite. We are sending letters out to all
of the names listed on the attached sheet and hape that we can

secure as many of these to attend and to participate in our panel
discussion. We usually have abOut 600 attend the convention. and

with the exposition as explained in the enclosed folder. we hope to
increaue our attendance this year to 1,000.

Please let me know if a panel discussion of this type can be held
without any difficulty with the State Qualifying Rules and if such
a panel could be billed as "Face The Likely Governor Candidates."
