Dear Ferris:

we three in the Dede Delegation, have had a meeting and have agreed on
the committee request on behalf or the Various members of the Delega-
tion, and I am enclosing under separate sheet the request.

There is only one conflict in the request, and that is the request of
myself and Fescelle, each asking for appointment to the Public Amuse
ment Committee, and we have agreed to submit the matter to you with
the understanding that whoever you may choose to appoint on that com-
mittee, will be ebeolutely aatiefactory to both of no, and that our
only desire is that at least one of us be appointed on this committee.

we understand that there will be more than one judiciary, and we would
like to have each one of us appointed on a judiciary and we do not care
which one of the Judicieriee as long as they are separate.

If you will note, we have eleo given you a list of preferences an to the
cherinenshipe or vice-charinenehipe.

With reference to my committee appointments, I would like to point out
to you that I have been on Rulee and Calendar for the three sessions
that I have been in the legislature and have been vice-chairmen for it
twice. Lest session I was a member of Insurance, Labor, Banks and Loans,
end chairmen of judiciary A. I would particularly like to be on the
insurance committee as I attended all of the hearings held by the joint
cannitteee and em thoroughly familiar with this legislation, and feel
that I can be of reel service there.

I believe that Dante and Bob haVe both indicated to you personally their
experience and their reasons [or being on the committees they requested.
