Dear Farris:

I am sorry that we have not had an
opportunity to get together recently, as I have desired
to see you for quite some time, both for pleasure
and to discuss your future plans. Since your recent
visit to Miami and your speech while you were here, I
have been contacted by several persons who were not
associated with us in our Joint effort of the past and
whom I believe would very much like to support you in
any future efforts.

Since I last saw you I have become associated
with Mr. George H. Salley, whom I would like you to
meet, if you have not previously done so.

It also comes to my mind that in addition
to such plans of a political nature as you might have,
that you have from time to time considered other ventures
in our fair city, and I would very much like to discuss
those with you when you again visit Miami.

hope will be in the very near future.
