This region raises many Natives of Australia. cattle and a large amount of wheat. The chief exports are wool, gold, wheat and cattle. The leading imports are iron goods, cloth, sugar and tea. A great deal of wool from the other colonies finds a market here. Most of it is again sold abroad. Nearly all the foreign trade of Australia is carried on with England.
