THE STAG—BEETLE.

The man was just going to eat his dinner, when he
saw that horrid bug on the wall. What an ugly-looking
thing it is! Ido not wonder that he is frightened, and is
afraid it will bite him. It is called a stag-beetle because
it has horns.
