JAMES AND HIS PONY.

James loves his wee po-ny. He gives it
sweets and bits of bread, and pats it; its
name is Fun. James can ride quite well,
and Fun goes fast when he has James on
his back, and James is proud of Fun’s nice
tail and mane. Fun is fond of the boy,
and will try to please him; and James is
kind to Fun; they are good friends, that
po-ny and boy. James has a kind, good
heart.
