Other than those mentioned there are a few minor industries utilising agricultural products. Fruits and vegetables are canned, mainly for local use, and the canning of sausages and bacon has recently started in Jamaica. Taking the area as a whole there is a fairly wide variety of food processing industries, and we have not been able to deal separately with a number of the minor ones. 115
