of valid (at least 10 days old) Yellow
Fever certificates so as to avoid delay

vals in Trinidad have been seriously
inconvenienced for lack of these cer-
tificates".

Vincent Circuit which was scheduled to
commence on Tuesday the 30th day of.
November, 1954, has been adjourned to
Tuesday the 14th day of December, 1954.
at 10.00 o'clock in the forenoon.
 The personal attendance of parties
concerned and of such persons as are
bound over by recognizance to prosecute
or give evidence or summoned as Jurors
or witnesses will not, therefore, be
required until the said 14th day of
December, 1954.

persons having claims against the
Government of St. Vincent, are hereby
requested to forward such claims to the
Government Departments concerned on
or before the 15th December, 1954, in
order to ensure the payment thereof
before the close of the current financial
year at 31st December, next.
 2. Similarly, all persons indebted to
the Government of St. Vincent for goods
supplied or services rendered are hereby
-requested to settle these accounts on or
before the 31st December, 1954.

 EXCHANGE CONTROL: BANK OF
 ENGLAND. NOTES.

 It is hereby notified for general infor-
 mation that from 30th September, 1954,
 Bank of England notes of 10 upwards
 and Bank of England notes of 5 dated
 prior to the 2nd September, 1944 all of
 which have ceased to be legal tender
 (but have remained payable on present-
 ation at the Bank of England) may be
 sent by post from any territory to a
 banker in the United Kingdom for
 collection. None of these notes has a
 metallic thread such as appears in cur-
 rent 5 notes.
 Notes should be despatched at the
 risk of the owner to the usual banking
 correspondents in the United Kingdom
 of the owner or of the owner's local
 bank. Authorised Banks are being
 given authority to credit the proceeds
 of notes forwarded from outside the
 Scheduled Territories to the type of
 account appropriate to the country of
 the remitter.
 The position of all other Bank of
 England notes remains unchanged.
