WHEREAS it is provided by subsection (2) of section 6 of the Legislative Council (Elections) Ordinance No. 13 of 1951 that a list of electors shall be compiled for eaci polling division comprised within an electoral district and shall come into force on such date as the Governor may by proclamation appoint, and shall remain in force until the list of electors next compiled comes into force : AND WHEREAS lists of electors for each polling division within the electoral districts of the Colony have been compiled in pursuance of the provisions of the aforesaid subsection : Now THEREFORE I, WALTER FLEMING COUTTS, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Saint Vincent i: exercise of the powers vested in me by the said subsection do hereby proclaim that the said lists shall come into force on the 24th day of July, 1954. Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Saint Vincent at Government Office in the said Colony this 24th day of July in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four and ip the third year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.
