 Thi Regional Labour Board announce
 with great regret that Mr. HERBERT
 MACCDONALD, O.B.E., Chief Liaison Offi-
 cer of the British West Indies Central
 Labour Organisation, has informed them
 that he wishes to relinquish his alppoint-
 nment at the end of the year. In accept-
 ing his resignation the Board have ex-
 pressed to Mr. MACDONALD, on behalf
 of their Governments, their deep ;ppre-
 ciation of the outstanding service that
 he has rendered in establishing and
 maintaining the farm labour programme
 in the U.S.A.. and their admiration of
 the energy, initititive and integrity
 which he has at all times brought to
 the performance of his duties during
 the 11 years in which he has held his
 post.
