The Ordinance atlove referred to and its Schedule require ill Receipts including Cash Bills for goods pur- chased at stores, shops or elsewhere" for $5 and over to be stamped with an ad- hesive, stanip to the value set forth in the said Schedule. 3. Every person, who being required under this Ordinance to stamp any Receip, or Cash Bill as aforesaid neg- lects or refuses to do so in tihe manner provided, shall forfeit a penalty not exceeding Forty-eight Dollars ($48). In accordance with Section 35, Sub- section 2, of Ordinance No. 12 ef 1950, instructions have been issued for the disconnection of all Private Water Ser- vices in respect of which rates and charges as at 31st December, 1953 remain unpaid.
