 VACANT POST OF HOUSEKEEPER,
 COLONIAL HOSPITAL, ST. VINCENT.

 1. Applications are invited for the
 vacant post of Housekeeper, Colonial
 Hospital, St. Vincent.
 2. The salary of the post is at the
 rate of $1,200 per annum.
 3. The HIousekteper shall-
 (a) be subject to the general
 direction and supervision of
 the Matron:
 (b) have responsibility for the
 proper running of all kitch-
 ens. pantries and such other
 parts of the Colonial Hospital
 as may be assigned to her;
 (c) Coliaborate with the Matron
 and Ward Sisters in the prepar-
 ation of the daily menus and
 submit diet slips .from all the
 wards and from the staff
 dining hall, together with the
 slips to the Steward and Chief
 Dispenser for checking and
 issuing of stores;
 (d) adhere strictly to the dietary
 prescribed by tlie Colonial
 Hospital Regulations:
 (e) have inmmnediate charge of and
 be personally responsible for
 all food supplies and fuel
 issued to her:
 (f) supervise tlie actual prepar-
 ation and s'rvin- of all meals,
 and pay p)-r 'nal attention to
 the preparation of special
 diets:
 (g) perform such other duties not
 inconsistent with the above.

 Applications are invited for the post
 of Senior Agricultu al Instructor in the
 Department of Agriculture, Glenada,
 B.W.I.
 The post which is non-pensionable
 carries a salary of $1,440 by $72 to
 $1,944 (300 by 15 to 405). A trans-
 port allowance, at present at the rate of
 $912 per annum is attached to the post
 provided a motor car is kept. No cost
 of living allowance is payable and
 quarters are not provided.
 Applicants must possess the Diploma
 of the Jamaica School of Agriculture
 or its equivalent.
 Thie point in the salary grade at
 which the successful candidate will be
 appointed will depend upon his qualifi-
 cations and experience. Free passages
 on appointment t will be provided for
 the sicces.ful candidate and his family,
 not exceedit.g four in all. plus normal
 travelling expenses.
