 VISIT OF ADMINISTRATOR TO GRENADA.
 His Honour WALTER FLEMING COUTTS, C.M.G., M.B.E., Administrator, St.
 Vincent, left the Colony for Grenadia, by air, today to attend a Conference of
 Administrators to be held in that Colony.
 His Honour expects to return to the Colony on 14th May.

 ACTING ADMINISTRATOR.
 The Honourable OSMUND RANDOLPH KELSICK, D.F.C., Assistant Administrator
 and Establishment Officer, today took the prescribed Oaths in accordance with
 Subsection (2) of Article 7 of the Windward Islands Letters Patent bearing date
 27th August, 1951, and the Dormant Commission by the Governor of the Windward
 Islands bearing date 18th February, 1954, and assumed the Administration of the
 Government of St. Vincent consequent upon and during the absence of His Honour
 W. F. COUTTS, Administrator, in Grenada.
 Mr. KELSICK will, during this short period, also perform his substantive
 duties.

 IN THE MATTER OF THE LAND ACQUISITION ORDINANCE, 1946,
 (No. 22 of 1946).
 AND
 IN THE MATTER of a Declaration made by the Governor in Council that certain
 lots of land situate in the town of Kingstown in the Island of Saint Vincent
 are to be acquired for a public purpose.
 DECLARATION OF ACQUISITION OF LAND.

 WHEREAS it is enacted by section 3 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance, 1946,
 (No. 22 of 1946) that if the Governor in Council considers that any land should be
