The Catering Supervisor sh;ll:- (a) carry out his duties in co-opera- tion with the Steward, Colonial Hospital and the Superinten- dent of the Mental Hospital and Old People's Home, who will indicate to him the institu- tions' daily requirements ; (b) study carefully the local supply conditions at all times and ad- vise as to what items (within the dietary scale) can be most advantageously obtained (c) ensure that items are obtained at the most reasonable prices, and tlht the quality of food- staffs purchaseiI or supplied by contractors is- of a satisfactory standard ; (d) arrange for the prompt delivery by the Department's motor pick- up of all supplies purchased for the institutions ; (e) if and when a bulk food store is established, bulk-purchase suitable quantities of provisions and be responsible for their storage and delivery to the in- stitutions as required. 4. The post is non-pensionable and the person appointed will be subject to. the Colonial Regalatio)s, the General Orders and the Financial and Stoi-e Rules of the Windward Islands, and to the various Ordinances and subsidiary Legislation in force in the Colony. 5.
