 A PROCLAMATION.

 WHEREAS by section 7 of the Bank Holidays Ordinance, Cap. 161, it is enacted
 that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council from time to time, by
 Proclamation in the Gazette, to appoint a special day to be observed as a Bank
 Holiday throughout the Colony;
 AND WHEREAS I, by and with the advice of the Executive Council. deem it fit and
 proper that Monday, the 8th day of March, 1954, should be observed as a. Bank
 Holiday throughout the Colony:
 Now, I, by and with the advice aforesaid, do hereby appoint Monday the 8th
 day of March, 1954, to be observed as a Bank Holiday throughout the Colony.
 GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Island of Saint Vincent at
 Government Office this 13th day of February, one thousand nine
 hundred and fifty-four and in the Third Year of the Reign of Her
 Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.
