VISIT OF ADMINISTRATOR TO BARBADOS.


 His Honour WALTER FLEMING COUTTS, C.I.G., M.B.E., Adininis-
trator. St. Vincent, left the Colony for Barbados by air at 7.00 a.m. today or a
short visit to that Colony.
 His Honour expects to return to the Colony by air on 8th February.
 4th February, 1954.

 ACTING ADMINISTRATOR.

 Mr OSMUND RANDOLPH KELSICK, D.F.C., Assistant Administiatcr,
today took the prescribed Oaths in accordance with the provisions of Snb-
section (2) of Article 7 of the Windward Islands Letters Patent bearing date
27th August, 1951, and assumed the Administration of the Government of
St. Vincent consequent upon and during the absence from the Colony of His
Honour W. F. COUTTS, Administrator.
 Mr. KELSICK will, during this short period, also perform his substantive
duties.
