TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES UNDP PHYSICAL PLANNING PROJECT The United Nations Development Programme Physical Planning Project is assisting the Governments of nine (9) Commonwealth Eastern Caribbean Territories in the field of physical planning. Participating territories are:- Antigua, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Montserrat, St. Christopher/Nevis/Anguilla, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Turks and Caicos Islands. The Project is based at the Morne, Castries, St. Lucia. Applications are invited from nationals of the above Territories and should be submitted through their respective governments. The Project provides for a two-year programme for the training of Physical Planning Assistance, tenable at The Morne, Castries, St. Lucia and scheduled 'to commence on 1st August, 1973. Candidates should possess a G.C.E. Certi- ficate at Orldiii, r Level. ii Inglish and .Mathematics as a minimum and prefer- ably some years practical experience in housing, building or physical planning. The training programme covers full tuition and transportation costs, and a monthly stipend for living and miscellaneous expenses. Successful trainees will be expected to return to their home territories for employment in the gov- ernment service for a minimum period to be determined by their respective governments.
