TRAINING IN CREATIVE DANCING JAMAICA Applications are invited from persons interested in Creative Dancing, to at- tend an Easter Dance Course at the Uni- versity of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica from April 4th-16th, 1972. The Easter Dance Course is sponsored by the U.W.I. Extra-Mural Department, under the leadership of the University's :I Tutor in Drama, Mr. Noel Vaz. Tutors of the Course will be Mrs. La- vinia ; .... of the Haiti National Folklore Theatre who will tutor in Afro-Caribbean Dance and Mr. John Jones from the U.S.A. who will tutor in Jazz, Modern and Ballet. Arrangements are being made for one of the students on this short course to remain in Jamaica for a further period of three months' intensive training at the Creative Arts Centre, U.W.I. Applicants should therefore indicate whether or not they are interested in the continuation training.
