HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY OPENING OF A NEW SESSION AND PRESENTATION OF THE BUDGET The first meeting of the New Session of the House of Assembly will be held at the Assembly Chamber on Monday 31st January, 1972 at 9,00 a.m., when His Excellency the Governor will deliver the Speech from the Throne and formally open the new Session. The presentation of the 1972 Budget will follow the opening of the New Session, when the Honourable Premier and Minister of Finance will deliver his Budget address, A cordial invitation is extended to the general public to attend both func- tions subject to the following arrangements for seating and standing accQmWo- dation. The GenQeral Public is hereby notified that approximately 300 chairs will be available in the Assembly Qhamber proper for accommodation of Members ofthe Kingstown Town Board, the Chairman of small Town Boards and Village .Qouncils, Senior Civil Servants, the Clergy, other persons prominent in the life of the community, and the general public. Special seating accommodation .will he arranged for the wives of Members of the House. .Unfortunately, there will only be limited standing space available.
