1970, Mr. AUCKLAND WALLACE was
elected Chairman of the Council.

information that on 4th August, 1970 Mr.
RIODWELL C. GORDON of Chateaubelair
was nominated as a Candidate for elec-
tion to the Chateaubelair Town Board.
 There being no other nominations, Mr.
Gordon was therefore duly elected to fill
the vacant seat on the said Board.

 The Extra-Mural Department of the
University of the West Indies is offering
a four-months' course in the Principles
and Prv,.tive of Social Work at the
Social Welfare Training Centre, U.W.l.,
Mona, from January 11th-April 30th,
1971.
 The course is designed to meet the--
needs of persons working in the broad
field of social welfare, with three or
more years experience but without pro-
fessional training.
