SAINT VINCENT. STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS, 1970, No. 32. HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY (ELECTIONS) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1970. (Gazetted 26th May, 1970). 1. Short title. These Rules may be cited as the House of Assembly (Elec- tions) (Amendment) Rules, 1970, and shall be read as one with the House of Assembly (Elections) Rules formally known as the Legislative Council (Elec- tions) Rules, 1960, (S.R. & 0. 1960, No. 35) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Rules) and all amendments thereto. 2. Rule 3 of principal Rules revoked and replaced. Rule 3 of the princi- pal Rules is hereby revoked and replaced with the following:- "3 Remuneration to Registra.ion Officer. A Registration Officer shall be paid the sum of ninety dollars for his services in connection with the registration of electors in a constituency. 3. Rule 4 of principal Rules amended. Rule 4 of the Principal Rules is hereby amended by substituting the following for paragraph (1) thereof:- (1) An Assistant Registration Officer shall be paid the sum of seventy dollars for his services in connection with the first registration of electors in a constituency or with the registration of electors in an enumeration year thereafter: Provided that an Assistant Registration Officer appointed in respect of the Election District of the Grenadines shall be paid the sum of ninety dollars for his services. 4. Rule 11A of principal Rules revoked. Rule 11A of the principal Rules is hereby revoked. 5. Commencement. These Rules shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1969.
