 DEVALUATION OF THE  STERLING.

 It is notified for general information that following the de-
valuation of the  sterling in terms of the U.S. Dollar, the East
Caribbean Dollar retains its former value in terms of Sterling
and has therefore automatically been devalued in terms of the
United States Dollar.
 One East Caribbean Dollar now equals 50 cents U.S. Cur-
rency.
