AN ORDINANCE to authorise the payment of a gratuity and pension to Charles Gideon Huggins, formerly a Teacher, Group Organiser, Social Welfare Department of a Colonial Development and Welfare Scheme, and Civil Servant, in the service of the Government of Saint Vincent. [ On Proclamation. ] Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council of Saint Vincent, and by the authority of the same as follows:- 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Charles Gideon Short title. Huggins (Gratuity and Pension) Ordinance, 1967: 2. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to the Payment of contrary, there shall be paid out of the general revenue of this gratuity and Colony to Charles Gideon Huggins, formerly a Teacher, Group pension. Organiser, Social Welfare Department of a Colonial Develop- ment and Welfare Scheme, and a Civil Servant, in the service of the Government of Saint Vincent, with effect from the date of his retirement from the said service, a sum by way of gratuity and pension under the Pensions Ordinance, 1948 (No. 16 of 1948).
