CONTRIBUTE GENEROUSLY TO THE FAIR HALL (APPROVED) SCHOOL AFTER-CARE HOSTEL PROJECT The Management Committee of the Fair Hall (Approved) School has plan- ned to erect an After-Care Hostel on the School Compound to provide accommo- dation, at the start, for about eight boys when their term of compulsory deten- tion at the School expires. The first batch of boys should be leaving at the end of 1956 and the Committee is extremely anxious to get this building ready by t en. Government is not only in full agree- nment with the proposal but has given its assent to the Committee's raising funds for the purpose. B ,cause it is felt that this School is serving a useful purpose to the Commu- nity in protecting many of our youths from the paths of error and wrong- doing and moulding them into good and useful citizens, and because it is felt, also, that the usefulness of the ;raining would be greatly undermined if some attention is not paid to the After-Care of the boys. the Committee is certain that all Vincentians ind friends, here and abroad, would con- triLnt, g,-nerou -ly towards this wortl,- while and deserving project. It is anticipated that this hostel is likely to cost aipp:oximateiy four thous- and dollars. Donations should be sent to the Secretary y, Management Committee, Fairhall (Approved) School, c/o The ..- zgTm
