At a recent meeting of the Sanitary Authority it was unanimously agreed to change the time for commencenjent of work for the "-wyk-ing personnel of the Scavenging Service from 6 a.m. to 4 a.m. beginning from Monday 26th March, 1956. 2. As a result of this change the existing Regulation governing the col- lection of house refuse in Kingstown has been accortiiiily amended to read as follows:- IIn the town of Kingstown the occu- pier of every dwelling house not being a barrack, and the owner of every barrack shall between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., and the Man- ager, Director or Owner of any Business Premises shall between 8.30 of every day (except Sundays and Public Holidays) deposit in the gateway or immediately out- side such premises in a con- veniently accessible a moveable .receptacle in which shall be placed all the house refuse of such premises for thb purl-ose of removal by the Sanitiry Author- ity ". 3., Such persons as are concerned are kindly asked to co-op(.ritv so that 11 e change will result in the increased effi- ciency which is desired in maintaining the cleanliness of thin Town.
