 VISIT OF GOVERNOR TO THE UNITED KINGDOM.
 His Excellency Mr. C. M. Deverell, C.M.G., C.V.O., O.B.E.,
 Governor of the Windward Islands, left Grenada on the 9th
 December, 1955, for London, for official discussion.; ith the Right
 Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
 His Excellency, who will be accompanied by Mr. D. J.
 Kirkness, Financial and Economic Adviser, Windward Islands,
 is expected to return before Christmas.
 During His Excellency's absence Mr. Wallace MacMillan,
 Administrator of Grenada, will act as Goveinor of the Windward
 Islands.

 The following Announcement made by His Excellency the Gov-
 ernlor of the Windward Islands on the 9th December, 1955, is
 published for general information :-
 MINISTERIAL SYSTEM.
 His Excellency the Governor has informed the Governments
 of the Windward Islands that it will not be possible, before 1st
 March, 1956, to complete all the necessary arrangements, following
 the making of the New Constitutional Instruments to enable the
 Ministerial System to be introduced.
