107 , 26 - SAINT VINCENT. STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS, 1955, No. 39. THE CURRENCY (COIN) REGULATIONS, 1955. (Gazetted 4th October, 1955). 1. Short title. These Regulations miay be cited as the Currency (Coin) Regulations, 1955. 2. Interpretation. In these Regulations- "Agent Bank" means, any bank appointed or' employed by the Board to act as its agent; "coin" means any coin provided, issued or re-issued, or to bc provided, issued or re-issued under the authority of the Ordinance; "Centre" means any place other than Headquarters at which the Board has established an office; "Currency Officer" means a member of the Board or any other person appointed by the Boaid with the approval of the Governor to be a Currency Officer; "Headquarters" means the headquarters of the Board at Trinidad; "Sub-Centre" means any place at which the Board has not established an office but at which there is .n Agent Bank; "the Board" shall have the same meaning as in the Ordinance; "The Ordinance" means the Currency Ordinance. * 3. Minting of coin. All coin shall be minted by or under the direction of the Master of Her Majesty's Royal Mint in England. 4. Moulds for the minting of coins. The design of coins shall be approved by the Secretary of State and dies from, which coins are to be minted shall be retained in the custody ot the Royal Mint. 5. Custody of coin. (1) All unissued coin and all coin withdrawn from circulation shall be kept in a strong fire-proof vault provided by the Board or by an Agent Bank: Provided that unissued coin shall be, stored separately from coin withdrawn from circulation. (2) Each door or entrance of a vault provided by the Bnard shall be secured by three different locks, the keys or combinations of which shall be S eld respectively by such three Currency Officers as the Board with the approval of the Governor may from time to time appoint.
