Applications are invited from Doctors with medical qualifications registrable in the United Kingdom and with at least one year's hospital experience after qualification for vacant posts of Grade *C' Medical Officer in the Medical Department of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. Officers will be stationed at one or other of the two Colonial Hospitals. They will be required to carry out the duties normally performed hy house physicians or house surgeons in acute general hospitals of this size (500 beds). They will be required to assume responsibilities for cases in wards under the supervision of Specialist Officers and/or experienced Grade 'B' Officers (of Registrar's status). Appointment will be on probation for two years or if preferable on agreement for three years. The Dental Surgeon will be re- quired to perform all the usual pro- cedure of a dentist and to render dental treatmentt to school children and other ,persons in his district and to perform such other duties as may be required by the Director of Medical Services.
