Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment to the vacant post of Inspector of Labour (Factories), Labour Department, British Guiana. 2. The post is pensionable and on the salary scale A 4: $4,560 x $240-$5,760 per annum. 3 The successful candidate will be re- quired to pass the usual medical exam- ination for admission to the Public Service and confirmation in the appoint- :nent is subject to satisfactory work and conduct during a probationary period of two years. 4. Applicants should have:- (a) either a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical and/ or Electrical Engineering (e.g. A.M.I.
