 "Two copies of a recent photograph

 included with the application. These
 photographs must be taken frill
 face without hat, and the photographs
 must not be mountied. The size of
 the photographs must not he more
 than 21 i inches by 2 inches or less than
 2 inches by 1i incheR. The photo-
 -raphs ninst he printed on normal
 thin photographic paper anld mnnt not
 he glazed on the reverse side.

 POLICE NOTICE.

 The attention of all drivers of motor
vehicles is drawn to Section 21 sub-
section 19 of the Motor Vehicles and
Road Traffic Ordinance, No. 20 of 1940
which reads as follows:-
 The driver of a motor vehicle shall,
on the approach of any engine or other
apparatus of a Fire Brigade proceeding
to or from a fire, or suspected fire.
draw up close to the left hand side of
the road and stop, leaving the centre
of the road cleir for the passage of
such engine or apparatus, and no two
vehicles shall s!:a : d abreast.
