WHEREAS it is enacted by section 4 of the Public Property Insurance (Amendment) Ordinance, 1950, that the said Ordinance shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gazette : AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the said Ordinance shall come into force on the 12th day of September, 1950 : Now THEREFORE I, WALTER FLEMING COUTTS, Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, pursuant to the authority in me vested by the said Ordinance do hereby proclaim that the aforesaid Ordinance shall come into force on the 12th day of September, 1950. GIVEN under my hand and the Public Sea! of the Island of Saint Vincent at Government Office in the said Island this Eleventh day of September, in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and fifty, and in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of His Majesty KING GEORGE THE SIXTH.
